Qs Believe - Jessica Galbreth - Page 1

After 5 days I finally stitched half of the first page from QS Believe.
So here it is a picture of it done.

QS Believe - Jessica Galbreth - Page 1 - 09/01/2011

On the 01/01/11 I started the QS Believe from Jessica Galbreth I'm stitiching it on a 25ct white evenweave 2 over 1, full stitches.
I'm stitching nearly 300stitches on it per day, so according with my calculations if I keep this rhythm in 3 months it will be finished...
And after 9 days this is how it looks like:

Popcorn Birth Sampler finished

Today I finished the Popcorn birth sampler.
The first finish of 2011 and the first "to do" project of 2011 to be crossed out from my list for this year.
I think that now I'll be splitting my focus between the two HAE and the Jasmin. Probably Jasmin will be the next finished project... or it might be the HAE Believe... we'll see...

But meanwhile here's a picture of the Popcorn project finished:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

So this is my first post for 2011 and as it should be it will work as my "To Do List for 2011"...

So here are my cross-stitching plans for this New Year:

- Finish the Popcorn Birth Sampler
- Finish the HAE "Touch of Spring"
- Finish the DMC Jasmin
- Finish the Flower Towel
- Finish the HAE "QS Believe"
- Start and finish the Orchid picture from Cross Stitcher Maggazine
- Start and finish the DMC British Scene
- Start and finish the HAE Dragon Fae
- Start and finish the HAE MIA
- Start HAE Tabby the beggar

I hope I'll be able to do it all and more, and if I get more projects I'll add them to my to do list and I'm starting  with a rotation system so I can show more progresses during the year. I already started the HAE QS Believe today and as soon as I reach the 300 stitches I'll change to other project for more 300 stithes and so on... I just hope I can keep only 5 projects on the go instead of adding more and more...

Lets see how the year goes :)

Merry Christmas all!!!

Since I'll be flying home for Christmas on Monday, and I'm not sure if I'll have time to post anything while I'm there I decided to make this post now. And wish you all a Merry Christmas in the company of those that are important for you...

And here I am, back for some more updates on my progresses, although I've been quiet here, I've been working mad, especially now, since I'm only one week from going back home for Christmas holidays, I've finished my second page on the Touch of Spring and I've finally started the Popcorn Birth Sampler. It will be one of the projects going back home with me, I'm still deciding if I'll take the touch of Spring or Jasmin with me as well.

Also, today I received my X-mas gift from the Secret Santa exchange from one of the groups I'm in. I really liked it.

I hope I'll be posting some pictures tomorrow or so... (if I get some time)

HAE - Touch of Spring

After nearly two weeks without working on my big project... I've returned to it and I'll be focused on it until I finished my second page, after that I'll jump to the birth sampler (that I'll probably will take with me when I go to Portugal for my Christmas holidays) after that the Jasmin for a bit more progress on it and then to the towel, to do half of it at least and then back to my HAE and I hope I can keep up with that rotation until I finish the three smaller projects...

Lets wait and see...
